didn't see this result anywhere so just thought I'd post it.  Fastest man in Galway -  Gary Thornton of GCH finished in 13th position with a time of 30:22 in the Europa cup on Saturday.  We are getting used to Gary setting a pb almost every time he laces his spikes so he likely won't be too thrilled with this one as though it's an awesome time it's well away from the form he's been showing recently.  Still it's been a fantastic week for him with his superb 13:58 in the BMC 5k last week.

Well done to Peter o sullivan on his first victory ! peter stormed the new Dangan course and finished in a time of 16:34.

Thats it for the series im sure it was the best so far and we look forward to next year already! Well done to All who took part and all who helped make it happen.

Craughwell AC are looking to put forward a men’s team onto this year’s national Track & field league. This will be a  first for the club so to kick start our campaign we have arranged a Squad training day in  Danagn this Saturday 29th May from 4.30pm – 6.30pm to give the  opportunity to try your hands at T&F events. Training and practice will also be available for jumps & throws. This will be also be a good speed session with intervals and a couple of in house relay races so that we can get the hang of passing the baton.
