Well I for one didn't expect this on its first year, but the Craughwell 10 has sold out, having reached its target of 500 entries.  Almost as if it were planned by race director Peter "lucky" O'Sullivan we managed to sell out on the day of the race launch bash which was also a great success.

To all those that have managed to get their entries in - we're really loking forward to seeing you on the day.   To those that didn't get in - sorry about that :-(  There's always next year or if you are local think about volunteering for the helper team!

I will finish the route - determination! - but am concerned my time (predicted about two hours) will leave me way behind the more experienced athletes. We have been granted road closure for the route by Galway County Council so it vital that everyone running is parked by 12.30 as it will not be possible to get to Craughwell national school by car after 12.30.
