Thank you for your entry in the Inaugural Craughwell 10. There is just over 3 days to go now to race day, so I hope your training is going as you planned it.

 ·         Race time, date & venue:  1.00 pm 14 March at Craughwell National School

 ·         Race number collection: Your race number will be available for collection from 11.00am to 12.30 on race day 14th of March at our race HQ in Craughwell national school.

 ·         Road closure: The entire route will be closed to vehicle traffic between 12.30 and 3.30pm on the day. Therefore it is vital that you arrive before 12.30 and park your car before the road closure takes effect. Please car pool if possible 

·         Race HQ:  Your race HQ will be open from 11.00am on the morning of the race. Please come early to avail of giveaways and specials from our kind sponsors, these include free pre-race drinks from Kinetica Sports, iron level and blood pressure testing by Molloys’s lifestyle Pharmacies and race day specials from Elverys Sports. A dedicated team registration desk will be open from 11.30 – 12.30.  There will be parking available for the race at the race HQ

Where is the school? written by Paul on March 11, 2010 Are there directions available to the school, I believe that its not on the main road. Where is the start in relation to the school? I was told that its a mile away? If that is the case, will there be somewhere to discard gear and have it brought back to the finish? ... written by Tony Nevin on March 11, 2010 Hi Paul ,thanks for the query ,The school is only 50 meters from the main road(n6)not far fron the railway crossing, as you head to galway its on your left. we will have some sines out and marshalls in place from 11 oc so you cant miss it. we will have a box to disgard clothing at the start and this can be acessed at the finish line we will also endever to collect any clothing disgarded en-route and this also will be removed to the finish area but may be later in the day,this will also be a "lost and found" and anyone missing anything can contact me on 0863026798 in the days following the race.
